"We" and "us" means Local Accountant.

Your books

Your books and financial data stay on your computer. We never receive them. The app goes online for these things only:

• Activation, once. It sends your activation key and an identifier for the computer.
• The update check. It sends the version it is running.

This website

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist, with your place in line, your own link code, and the code of the link you joined with, if any. Someone who shares a link sees only how many people joined with it, never who.
• Visit counts, taken without cookies.
• A bot check on the waitlist form, which reads technical details of your browser and connection, such as your IP address.

Cloudflare hosts this website and handles all three for us. It says it uses the bot check only to detect bots. We share your information with no one else.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across websites, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing here.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your information, or to leave the waitlist, write to support@localaccounting.ai.

Changes

If this page changes, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
